Double Crush Syndrome is when you have nerve compression at one point the likelihood of getting nerve compression at a second point goes up dramatically. This means that neck pain and issues can cause carpal tunnel, tennis elbow, golfers elbow, hand and wrist pain or vice versa.

disc herniation

We see this clinically with around 65-75% of chronic lower arm injuries having a neck component. When we treat the neck we often get a much better and quicker result.

nerves of the arm

The median nerve is the nerve that is associated with carpal tunnel pain and golfers elbow. The radial nerve can mimic tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis) and the ulnar nerve will give you cubital tunnel syndrome.

carpal tunnel

It is important to have you neck and entire arm evaluated when you have tennis elbow, golfers elbow or carpal tunnel issues as skipping this part will prolong your recovery.
