Orthopedic Physical Therapist

Alex joins MTS after a decade of dedicated practice to helping clients reconnect with orthopedic wellness, management of chronic/ persistent pain, and performance management. Alex is a graduate of Stony Brook University’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program. He went on to obtain his Certification in Functional Manual Therapy with the Institute of Physical art. A four year examination process that he completed with High Honors. In 2022 he became a board certified specialist in Orthopedics.
To complement his formal training, Alex brings a unique skill set from the passions he pursues outside of clinical practice. As a competitive collegiate wrestler and (now) high school coach, Alex has a keen understanding of grappling sports as well as a broader understanding of the dedication it takes to perform at a high level. To balance this, Alex has pursued training in meditation, integrated breathing therapies, and therapeutic Qi Gong. He has found that his experience with both gentle and vigorous activities provides an array of options to best meet the needs of his clients.
Alex’s patient-centered approach can be distilled into what he considers “The 3 C’s” of his clinical practice:
Clinical Excellence formed through extensive training and best practice guidelines
Collaboration with you and your health care team & most of all…
